Users

User is a system-level entity. Each User may participate in arbitrary number of projects. However to obtain an access to certain Project User must be included into project’s Team Members list.

Each User has following properties:

Name – string (limited to 49 characters) representing full name of the User.
Abbreviation – string (limited to 9 characters) convenient for references in text documents, e-mail messages, etc.
E-mail – user’s e-mail address (without mailto: prefix).
Phone – user’s telephone number.
Company – reference to one of the Companies

All properties listed above are visible for all users participating in the same Project as user to whom they belong. However these properties may be changed by system administrator only. In addition system administrator assigns some special properties not visible to other users:

Login – user’s login name.
Password – user’s password.
Has Admin rights – indicates whether User has administrator’s rights.
System reports available - indicates whether User has a right to view system-level reports. Unlike project-level reports summarizing various information related with certain Project and available to all users having access to this Project, system-level reports contain general administrative and financial information available to limited number of privileged users having System reports available right.
Account is disabled – setting of this property allows to suspend User’s access to Project Management System without removing him from the system.
