History

Project Management System maintains the History of all projects recording various project-related events into the database. System automatically records following events:

New Project has been created
Project status has been changed (for example, from "In Progress" to "Closed")
Project has been deleted
New Task has been added
Task status has been changed (for example, from "To Do" to "In Progress")
Task has been deleted
New Bug report has been added
Bug report status has been changed (for example, from "To Review" to "Reviewed")
Bug report has been deleted
New Document has been added to the document storage
Document has been updated
Document has been deleted

Each automatically recorded history event cannot be deleted from the history and contains following information:

Type of the event
Date and time of the event
Client company related with the event
Project related with the event
User related with the event - that is the user, who had executed corresponding action, for example, the user who had added new Document into one of the Storage
Event description

In addition to the automatically recorded events described above History may contain Notes - special type of the history records entered manually by the Users having corresponding rights. Notes are intended for the registration of various off-line events like a telephone conversations, meetings or financial activities. Optionally each user's note may be marked as 'private', in this case it is visible only for the User who had entered it, otherwise a note is 'shared' that is visible to all members of a project team.
Unlike an automatically recorded history events, which are always related with a certain Project, Notes may not have a relation with a certain project, however Notes are always related with a certain Client company.

Users access History by means of the History page available from both System menu and Project menu.
