Companies

Company is a system-level entity. It means that Company does not belong to certain Project. Each Company may participate in arbitrary number of Projects. Furthermore, certain Company may be assigned as Client company in some Projects and play different role in other Projects. See the description of Team Members to understand how system supports relations between Companies and Projects.

Each Company has following properties:

• Name – string (limited to 49 characters) representing company name.
• Description – string (usually multiline) describing the company.
• Web site – URL (without http:// prefix) referring to company’s web site.
• E-mail – general e-mail address of the company (without mailto: prefix). Individual members of the team may have their own e-mail addresses.
• Phone – general telephone number of the company. Individual members of the team may have their own telephone numbers.
• Fax – fax number.

To create new Company or alter existing company’s properties user must have Administrator’s privileges.
