User management page

This page provides Project Management System administrator with an opportunity to add new Users, manage user's accounts, change user's attributes and assign a Projects available to each User.

Table lists either all Users registered in the system database or only Users whose accounts are not disabled depending upon the status of the "show disabled accounts" checkbox located at the bottom of the table.

Table columns contain following information (columns from left to right):

Electric bulb icon in the leftmost column indicates that user is currently on-line.
Mouse button click on the icon located in the second column invokes Project assignment dialog that is the administrative form necessary to assign projects availability for each certain user and user's role in each of the projects.
Mouse button click on the pencil icon located in the third column invokes Edit User's properties page, where Project Management System administrator may change user's name, password, phone number and other properties. Edit User's properties page also allows to enable/disable user's account or assign administrative privileges to the user.
Abbr column contains user's initials - usually the first letters of user's first and last names. However in some cases other types of personal identifiers may be used, for example, employee file number or social security number.
Name column contains user's full name.
Company column contains user's Company name.
Photo column contains a link to user's photo if user had uploaded it using My Settings form. Mouse button click on the link invokes new browser window displaying user's photo.
Adm column contains a checkmark for those users who have administrator's priveleges. Only users with administrator's priveleges have an access to administrative screen forms.
Rep column contains a checkmark for those users who have a privilege to see system reports in advanced mode. In this mode user is allowed to see all companies and all users in system reports without reference to this user's rights to certain Projects. If advanced mode is not allowed then user sees only those companies and users who participate in the projects available to this user. Typically the privilege to see system reports in advanced mode should be assigned to the top managers of the company, which owns the Project Management System.
Hist column contains a checkmark for those users who have a privilege to see History pages.
Dis column contains a checkmark for the users whose accounts are disabled. This column is visible only if "show disabled accounts" checkbox located at the bottom of the table is checked.

Mouse button click on Add new user pushbutton at the bottom of the table adds new user account to the system and invokes Edit User's properties page to assign name, password and other attributes to new User.
