Roles management page

This page provides Project Management System administrator with an opportunity to add new Roles, manage Roles by adding or removing certain rights to each Role, delete Roles.

The page contains a list of existing Roles. Mouse button click on a role name invokes the Rights management dialog for the chosen role. Using Rights management dialog, system administrator assigns user rights associated with the Role.

To delete a Role click on the Delete icon (black cross) at the left of the role name in the list of existing roles. Note that if at least one of the system Users has this role in at least one of the Projects then such role cannot be deleted. Consequently, the system doesn't display Delete icon alongside of this role name.
It means that if you want to delete certain Role from the system and do not see Delete icon alongside of this role name, then you should find all users who owns this role in any Project and assign another roles to these users. When nobody will own chosen role, you will be able to delete it.

To add new role enter its name into the Add new role text box and click on Add pushbutton at the bottom of the form.
